adapting Brandon's bestselling novel.

• March 2023 - Directed  by Dani Bedau, a workshop reading of the first draft of Ziggy, Stardust &Me is held on campus at San Diego State University with SDSU faculty-seed funds that support  the professional development of new arts projects. This first iteration was written as a 45-minute Theatre for Young Audiences production, and also produced a Starguide for Educators. The reading featured: Charlotte Bridant, Justin Brill, Jordan Davenport, Danny Holmes, Sophia Perez, Kenny Ramos (Kumeyaay), Quin Shaw, and Jackson Wright.

• April 2023 – SDSU’s School of Theatre, Television, and Film selects Ziggy, Stardust & Me to open the 2023/24 Main Stage Season of Plays

• October 2023 – Directed by Dani Bedau, and in conjunction with the SDSU Arts Alive Discovery Series and the National Center for Children's Literature, a fully-staged workshop production of a 75-minute iteration of Ziggy, Stardust & Me opens the brand-new Prebys Stage at San Diego State University. Production featured: Charlotte Bridant, Justin Brill, Jordan Davenport, JJ Eccles, Olivia Gonzalez, Danny Holmes, Cheyenne Parker, Kenny Ramos (Kumeyaay), Morgan Sayles and Catelyn Thomas. • January 2024 – Directed by Dani Bedau, Diversionary Theatre in San Diego co-produces a reading of the new 90-minute commercial iteration of Ziggy, Stardust & Me, featuring the same actors who performed the workshop production in October at SDSU.
